The First Egyptian National Horse Show

Shot in Cairo, Egypt, the First Egyptian National Horse Show was held at the historic El Zahraa Stud Farm, home of the world famous Egyptian Agricultural Organization. International judges, a large entry, and an enthusiastic audience, made this a very successful first show. Watch the horses, study the pedigrees, make your choices and then compare with how the judges felt. Between classes wander in the commercial exhibit area and watch the best of the famous "dancing horses" perform. At shows end you will attend the Gala dinner and award presentation complete with belly dancer!

The one hour video also includes a historic overview of the history of Arabian horse breeding in the Middle East. A highlight of the visit is a presentation of the breeding horses of the Egyptian Agricultural Organization, with special attention paid to the stallions currently being used in the program. The visit is concluded with a tour of two private farms, and a presentation of horses representative of their breeding programs. Discover the differences, and similarities in horse care half a world away.

Private Breeders of Egypt, Vol 1

Dancing Horse at Rabab Stud
This video is a one hour comprehensive tour of seven private breeding establishments in Egypt. With over a hundred private breeders now under the supervision of the EAO, the selection was difficult. The large established farms are included, but the small, new breeder is also represented. At each farm we look at the surroundings, as well as the horses, and we have exclusive interviews with many of the breeders as well. Farms visited include Al Badeai Stud, Shams El Asil Stud, Sakr Arabians, Hedaya Stud, Bab El Hawa Stud, Rabab Stud and Desert Dream Arabians. Decide for yourself the answer to the hot question "are there any good horses left in Egypt"!

"I just saw the tape you produced and want to compliment you on a job well done. The photography really is good. And I know it isn't easy to get good pictures there."
